Circle 181223 - Digital Reinterpretation | Radiant Geometric Art Print

from $35.00
"Circle 181223" is a digital reinterpretation of my original 2018 gel pen artwork completed on December 23, 2018. This version preserves the concentric structure of the original while transforming its color, contrast, and hand-drawn surfaces into a richly textured digital composition. A large yellow circular field dominates the upper portion of the artwork, surrounded by successive curved bands of deep violet, turquoise, orange, and purple. The circles extend beyond the edges of the composition, allowing only portions of the larger concentric structure to remain visible and giving the image a sense of continuing expansion beyond the frame. The digital treatment transforms the original gel-pen marks into dense, granular fields of color while retaining traces of the underlying hand-drawn texture. Irregular dark markings remain scattered throughout the brighter areas, while strong differences in color and value clearly separate the individual bands without making their boundaries mechanically precise. As a digital reinterpretation, "Circle 181223" retains the simple concentric organization of the original while creating a dramatically different visual experience through saturated color and transformed surface texture. The combination of an oversized focal circle and partially visible surrounding bands creates a composition that feels both tightly structured and visually expansive. An exploration of concentric form, repetition, saturated color, expanding geometry, and digitally transformed hand-drawn texture. Fine Art Print Details — Color Vibrancy: Printed using advanced 12-color fine art printing technology for rich, vibrant colors and exceptional tonal depth.
