Helping Hands - Digital Reinterpretation | Geometric Art Print
from $35.00
"Helping Hands" is a digital reinterpretation of my original 2018 mixed-media artwork created with watercolor and marker on mixed media paper. This version preserves the original composition while transforming its softer watercolor palette into a much bolder arrangement of saturated color and heavily textured forms.
Bands of violet, lavender, and pale peach sweep through the composition, intersecting and wrapping around a vivid green center. A brilliant blue background surrounds the central structure, while deep black divisions give the overlapping forms greater definition and visual weight.
The digital transformation dramatically changes the surface character of the original artwork. Soft washes and loose marker lines become dense, granular textures with irregular edges, creating greater contrast and giving the repeated curves and diagonal forms a stronger sense of depth and movement.
Although the color and texture have changed considerably, the underlying geometry remains closely connected to the original "Helping Hands." The reinterpretation demonstrates how the same composition can take on a very different visual character through digital manipulation while retaining the structure and movement of the source artwork.
An exploration of layered geometry, sweeping curves, saturated color, and the transformation of an original mixed-media artwork through digital reinterpretation.
