Target 180731 - Digital Reinterpretation | Geometric Art Print
from $35.00
"Target 180731" is a digital reinterpretation of my original 2018 ballpoint pen artwork completed on July 31, 2018. This version preserves the composition and geometric structure of the original while transforming its hand-drawn surface with stronger contrast, saturated color, and enhanced digital texture.
A large red circular field dominates the composition, with darker concentric rings creating depth and movement across its surface. A vertical and horizontal arrangement of connected circles intersects at the center, combining warm peach and orange tones with cool blue-green forms, all defined by bold black outlines.
The digital treatment intensifies the densely worked character of the original. Rich reds, deep blues and violets, granular textures, and pronounced black divisions give the composition greater visual weight while retaining the symmetry, repetition, and underlying geometry of the ballpoint drawing.
As a digital reinterpretation, "Target 180731" offers a distinctly different presentation of the same composition, demonstrating how changes in color, contrast, and surface texture can transform the visual character of an artwork while preserving its original structure.
An exploration of concentric form, symmetry, repeated circles, saturated color, and digitally transformed texture.
